Outline Content

Raising awareness of issues related to contraception, sexual health and unplanned pregnancy. Appropriate for those working with young people, basic contraception and sexual health care in primary care or other settings.

The main emphasis on this sexual health training course is on new developments both already available and imminent, especially those in the field of contraception. There is an overview of current issues in sexual health, including sexually transmitted infections, HIV and teenage pregnancies.

Innovative ways to implement delivery of primary care services. This day is aimed at those who have never done sexual health before, including HCAs, new Practice Nurses, Youth Workers and Pharmacists.
