This six-month module aims to further develop practitioners with the necessary knowledge and skills to facilitate the holistic management of patients in primary care who have asthma and/or COPD. It considers the assessment, management and treatment options for both conditions. The impact of respiratory disease on the psychological and quality of life issues of the patient is considered.

On completion the healthcare practitioner will be able to assess and propose pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment tailored to the individual needs of the patient.

All study options will require you to sit a one hour online true/false exam. Online Only courses start every month. Classroom courses will start in March, June, September and December. Dates can be found towards the bottom of this page.

Please note that accredited places are strictly limited and it may not always be possible to allocate you to the course of your choice.
