One day workshop.

GP, Health Care Assistant, Nurse, Registered Healthcare Practitioners, Paramedic

This study day is part of a suite of four ECG training days. Module 3 concentrates on recognising ECG patterns caused by abnormal rhythms, including atrial and ventricular abnormalities, such as atrial fibrillation, ectopics and tachycardias. The day will not include topics covered in earlier modules, and students are expected to be competent in those areas.

By the end of the day, the student will be able to identify those abnormalities which are life threatening and need to be brought to the urgent attention of a physician.
