Chaperone training has become an important issue. The use of chaperones has long been a concern within the medical profession. The recommendations from the recent Ayling Inquiry, however, have highlighted the need for an increased awareness of the role and responsibilities of the chaperone and the needs and rights of the patient. In this study day we explore these issues in more detail.
