New Obesity Study Day coming soon13 Jan 2009
PCTC throws its weight behind new course!
One of the questions we get asked often at the PCTC is "Why don't you run a study day on obesity or weight management?" From early 2009, the answer to that question will be "We do!"
The new course will cover all aspects of obesity, including:
- Introduction and terminology and pathophysiology
- Obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular disease
- NICE Guidelines - what works and what doesn't and local interventions
- Pharmacological interventions and prescribing
- Prescribing in obesity and diabetes
- Childhood obesity, NAO report and Scottish Parliamentary Report
- Obesity futures - current research, innovative projects, WHO report and global issues
We expect a high demand for this course. To register interest, please contact us on 01274 617617 or send an email to admin@primarycaretraining.co.uk.
