Influenza and pneumococcal vaccines: a new role for HCAs?13 Mar 2007
PCTC develops new course in collaboration with WiPP
The Primary Care Training Centre is pleased to announce a new course, Influenza & Pneumococcal Vaccination for Health Care Assistants. This three-day workshop has been developed in conjunction with the Working in Partnership Programme, in recognition of the increasing role that Health Care Assistants are being asked to play in the practice.
The course will include an assessment at the end of the three days, and a set of competencies which must be signed off by a registered nurse mentor before a certificate will be issued. The certificate will be valid for one year, after which students must attend a one day refresher course.
Like all of our courses, your fee includes all materials, lunch and refreshments at our Crow Trees or London venues. We can deliver the course in your area, subject to minimum numbers. Please call for more details.
