New Respiratory Disease Update Day5 Jan 2010
Dates now available
If you’ve already completed your diploma or degree module in asthma or COPD, and would like a refresher on what’s new in the world or respiratory care, then Primary Care Training Centre’s Respiratory Update Day is ideal.
This is a relaxed and interactive day, which will help to boost your knowledge on the care of people with asthma and COPD. Run by two tutors who are respiratory specialist nurses in primary and secondary care, now working in Public Health on the commissioning side of two large PCTs in Yorkshire, the day will help to bring a perspective and insight that is perhaps different to one you may have experienced before.
By the end of the day we hope you will have increased your awareness of how local respiratory services compare to national performance measures, and have an improved understanding of latest national and international guidelines. There will also be case studies, which will help put theory in to practice and look at practical applications of national and international guidelines. There will also be an opportunity to look into the future, to see what may be install for asthma and COPD care in months and years to come.
With the forthcoming COPD National Strategy, now is a great time to be a step ahead!
